Article Marketing Your Way To Business Growth Share/Save

Author: Dwayne Garrett

We’ve heard it said time and again in the world of marketing on the Internet - content is king. What does that really mean, however? Simple, by providing great content or information, you are establishing yourself as an authority in your industry. Content does more than just fill your website and blog pages, however. Do you know how do you use content to market your business for no out of pocket cost?

One of the fastest and easiest ways to use content to promote your business is through article marketing.Article marketing is the technique of writing articles about your business, products or services and then submitting them to article directories on the Internet.

Article directories are websites that gather together vast amounts of free articles on every topic under the sun and then allow others to publish those articles on their websites, blogs, in emails and newsletters. Article directories provide valuable services to business owners. By having fresh content to use and publish, business owners can quickly and easily provide information to their clients and prospects.   So how does article marketing help you promote or advertise your business?.

Every article submitted to an article directory includes an author’s bio information at the end in the resource box. The resource box gives the author the opportunity to tell the reader a bit about who they are and what they do. It will also provide the opportunity to include a link or two back to your website.

fgd

When someone chooses to publish your article from an article directory, they must also publish the resource box with your author’s bio information. As a result, every time someone reads your article, no matter where they find it, it will include an instant “mini-ad” about your business as well as a direct link to your site.

Once the reader clicks through to your site, you have the opportunity then to capture their email address through an autoresponder for a newsletter or mailing list. Once you have their email, you can begin to build a relationship with your prospect and eventually turn them into a customer.

• The other thing article marketing can do to promote your business is establish you as an expert in your field. People want to purchase products and services from an educated and informed business. By writing and publishing well-written articles offering useful, informative, accurate information, you let your prospects know you have a level of expertise in your industry.

They will learn you are up-to-date on the new and trending information in your business. You can show them how your business product or service solves their problem.   Try writing articles about your industry, services and products to see how you can use article marketing to advertise, promote and market your business for no cost.

Write and submit articles to the directories on a regular basis and watch how your website visitors multiply. Once you get people to your site and capture their contact information, you are in the perfect position to turn them into new paying customers.

Marketing Strategies for your Business / Building Strategic Referral Partnerships Share/Save

Author: Lisa Thomas

Now that you know your Vision, your Ideal Client, how to Build Authentic Relationships, create Strategic Referral Partnerships and Promotional Events, you can effectively create and Build Strategic Referral Partnerships.

As you may recall, I mentioned in last month’s article that there are several marketing strategies to fundamentally build a business. The strategies are simple but not always easy, however if they are coupled with vision, vigor and a little tenacity, both business and life can be enjoyed with ease and results produced with velocity.

Remember as these strategies unfold in your reading each month, I never said it would be easy, however I am saying, it “can” be done with ease AND velocity with the right energy going in the right direction.

And you must keep in mind that you will have to address what I call the “human condition.”

The thing that will come between you and success is the “human condition”; your self imposed barriers, road blocks, and what you think you already know. Be aware of the barriers and road blocks as you read these.

Yes, I’m repeating this each month intentionally. Why? The two most prominent reasons are: to shift how you think in a way that builds your muscles to understand the fundamentals of marketing AND to address the human condition that could stop you from implementing the strategies and creating extreme success.

Keep in mind that Vision must be first.

Build Trust With 9 Small Business Marketing Strategies Share/Save

Author: Jody Gabourie

Marketing is all about creating and fostering relationships with your prospects and your clients.  A big part of achieving this is that people need to know, like and trust you before they’ll engage in a relationship with you or do any business with you.

Before a person will commit to making a purchase from you, they need to trust that your products and services will do what you say they are supposed to.  Also, if you want to keep your profitable clients, they have to continue to trust that you’ll deliver on your promises.

Trust is the basis of any relationship, be it personal or strictly business.  Take a look at the following ways that you can build trust and credibility into your small business marketing strategies:

1. Provide examples

Give lots of case studies and examples that outline how you’ve helped clients and the difference it has made in their business and their life.

Real examples are much more powerful and credible than simply making claims about your service or products.

2. Seek out referrals

We all ask our friends and colleagues to recommend good places to eat or a reliable plumber, because we trust the opinions of people we know.

It’s the same for your business; actively seek out referrals from satisfied customers.  Implementing a marketing system to generate referrals is one of the most overlooked marketing tactics for small businesses.

3. Get testimonials  People always pay more attention to what others have to say about you than any claims you make about yourself and your business.  Make it easy for your customers to provide testimonials.  Create some marketing systems to facilitate this and then use the testimonials in all your marketing tactics:  website, sales pages, direct mail, email communications, brochures and so on.

4. Offer guarantees

None of us like “buyer’s remorse” and providing a guarantee of service or results of your products and services will go a long way to help alleviate any concerns people have in handing over money to you.

Make sure you act promptly and with no hassles when you have to fulfill your guarantee.  Keeping your word is a huge part of building trust with people.

5. Share your contact information

Nothing raises a red flag more with me than when I cannot find a business’s contact details - address, phone number, fax, email address, website, name of their assistant, customer service number, etc.

By listing your contact information on all your marketing materials, you go a long way in showing people you exist, you are a real legitimate business and you’re available if they have any concerns or questions.

6. Write articles

Write and submit articles to establish yourself as an expert and to help build a reputation that shows you know what you’re talking about, you’re willing to share your expertise, and you’re “here to stay” - all components towards building trust.

7. Stay in touch

Regular and consistent contact with people helps facilitate trust - they know you’re around and interested.

Contact your prospects and clients regularly (via email, phone call, card, etc.) to get feedback, follow up, and provide useful tips.

8. Be a resource

Provide information that is timely and helpful to your prospects and clients.  Post articles on your website, send them an applicable, interesting report or magazine clipping, forward an email with details about a great teleseminar or workshop they might benefit from.

9. Let your personality come through

People do business with people, not companies.  Help prospects trust you by letting them get to know you.  Share your personality and passion in your marketing strategies and communications - for instance, have a picture of yourself on your website, share some tidbits about your personal life (hobbies, likes & dislikes, pets) and don’t be afraid to express opinions in your writing.

Take a look at your day-to-day marketing tactic and determine if you are doing all you can to build trust with your prospective and current clients.

If not, try incorporating a couple of the suggestions above and once they’re running smoothly and are part of your marketing system, then add a couple more.  Keep doing this and you’ll be rewarded with long lasting, rewarding and profitable relationships with many people.

Marketing Strategies - What Exactly is your Vision? Share/Save

Author: Kendall Summerhawk

Great success stories start with a clear, compelling vision that pulls you forward, even on those days when you would rather sleep in… or when taking action just feels too darn difficult.

But what exactly IS that vision?

Here are six steps to get your vision into focus… and into your heart:

Vivid Vision™ Step #1: Clearly explain your “what.”

Your Vivid Vision MUST clearly state WHAT you are motivated to achieve. So instead of the fluffy “I want to make a difference” statement, think in terms of something definitive with a time frame attached to it.

President Kennedy’s brilliant and bold vision was to put a man on the moon “before this decade is out.” Voiced in 1961, his vision was achieved a full year earlier, in 1969.

If you’re struggling with your vision, let me ask you this, “What is it that you are absolutely, positively passionate about achieving as if you’re life depends on it and failure is not an option?” As a success coach, I’ve learned you shouldn’t think too hard—the woman business owner’s first thought is probably right on!

Vivid Vision Step #2: Feel a passionate “why.”

To do its job of pulling you forward your Vivid Vision must have a passionate “why” behind it. Why is it so important to you? Without a compelling “why” it’s likely you won’t stay motivated when the going gets a bit tough.

Your “why” is strongest if it’s linked to something in your personal life that you value highly. For example, I thought my Vivid Vision was to make a million dollars per year. Now I realize that is my goal, not my Vivid Vision.

What I value most isn’t money (although I am very good making it!) I had been experiencing a disconnect between what I thought was the Vivid Vision and what I valued most. Naturally, that disconnect created a conflict of interest.

Now my Vivid Vision is perfectly aligned with my deepest values. Since making this shift, the results have been amazing! My income as a success coach is up by forty percent in less than one year.

Vivid Vision Step #3: Get a clear strategy.

Think of your strategy as your overall approach to fulfilling your Vivid Vision. Your strategy is not a detailed action plan. It’s a high level look at the basic direction of your planning map.

It’s in Step #3 where many a woman business owner lets her Vivid Vision slip through her fingers. Please, don’t make it complicated. You won’t know in advance if you are choosing the “right” way. There’s no right way; there is only a way. As a success coach, I recommend that you choose two or three ways (strategies) to achieve your Vivid Vision.

Vivid Vision Step #4: Get into action.

With your strategies clearly defined you’re ready to take action. Now, there will be days where your progress feels puny, obstacles appear larger than life and you want to chuck the whole thing. Don’t. By staying focused with your Vivid Vision, you’ll be inspired to put one foot in front of the other.

Vivid Vision Step #5: Let the Law of Attraction deliver the “how.”

Uh-oh…now we get to the sticky part. This is the step where a woman business owner wants to figure out how to make their Vivid Vision happen. Because she doesn’t know how it’s going to work out, she gets totally stuck in her tracks.

It’s tempting, I admit, to want to plan the “how.” My success coaching request here is… don’t. Every time you feel stuck or confused, read your Vivid Vision™ out loud. Read your strategies out loud. Then ask yourself, “What do I need to do to keep moving?” Don’t worry, if you’re in action, so too, the Universe will be in action on your behalf!

Vivid Vision Step #6: Create a vision board.

My husband, Richard, and I plan on purchasing a bigger piece of property to build a house and large horse facilities. We’ve made an incredibly beautiful vision board that represents everything we want, even down to the style of windows!

If I’m discouraged about finding the right piece of land, I study our vision board (it’s hanging right in front of my computer,) and immediately I feel inspired that the right property is coming our way. Plus, creating our vision board allows us to get very specific about what we’re seeking, so we are both in harmony with our vision. (Clarity is an important component when co-creating marketing strategies with someone!)

Use these six success coaching tips as your Vivid Vision checklist. Once you have ALL six steps clearly defined and written down, you will enjoy having a vision that outlines your marketing strategies and pulls you forward to success!

Author: Nick Angeli

When you are dealing with lead multi level marketing strategies, you know that there are several main issues that you want to look carefully at in order to ensure that you are able to get the most out of your money and out of your situations.

First of all you have to be aware that while most of them are going to be legit, there are going to be a few that you might see that are actually part of scams or other issues that might cause you friction or other problems. This is going to be a major problem and a concern for you, and the only way that you have to protect yourself is to do your own research.

In order to find the types of lead multi level marketing strategies that are going to be good for you and that aren’t going to lead you to have problems, you have to first be sure that you are doing your research. You want to research two main components. First of all, you have to look at the company that is putting it on. This should be your first place that you look. You want to see if the company itself is legit or if you can see any issues that might have come up already with the company.

This is going to be your number one place where you can find the most information regarding what you want to be doing with your lead multi level marketing strategies. Secondly, you are going to want to be sure that you are looking at the actual marketing strategies themselves.

You want to read all of the information that you have been given on them, and you want to be sure that you are able to define exactly what it is that the lead multi level marketing strategies stands for and how it plans on making the right kind of money. It is very important that you are researching both the company and the idea that they are trying to promote.

Next, after you have done your research and you have found that it might be a good idea for you after all, you want to focus on the other things that you can do to make sure that it is going to work well for you. This might include taking the time to look at your own finances and to see what kinds of money you can afford to invest. You want to be sure that you are taking a good look at these factors and that you are using them to help yourself make a good decision.

If you are doing all of these thing before you invest in lead multi level marketing strategies you will find that you are going to be much better off and that you are going to be able to make the most out of your money and out of the situations where you want to look into these issues.

Marketing Strategies That Work Share/Save

Author: Cristina Favreau

In order to be successful in your business you must learn how to select and implement effective marketing strategies to get you closer to your goal of getting more paying clients.

Let me share the first ‘secret’ of marketing with you: Choose a set of simple, effective things to do and do them consistently (easy, right?).

Here’s the second marketing secret: Gain the Know, Like and Trust Factor. Remember, marketing a service is NOT the same as marketing a product. A service is intangible; your clients can’t see the results until they are demonstrated. They have no idea how it will turn out for them, whether they’ll like it, whether you’re the right person for them, or whether it’ll work for their unique situation.

People need to know that you’re a “real” person with specific knowledge and experience of their unique problems. They need to hear your opinions and see your personality, in order to decide that they like you. As well, they need to trust that you have the solutions that will help them, that you work with professionalism and integrity and that you’ll do what you say you’re going to do.

Once they know, like and trust you, people will be far more ready and willing to shell out their hard earned money to acquire your services.

The most effective marketing strategies that service professionals can use to gain the know, like and trust factor are outlined in CJ Hayden’s book, “Get Clients Now!” She lists them in order of most effective to least effective:

1. Direct Contact & Follow-up (o)

2. Networking & Referral Building (o)

3. Public Speaking (c)

4. Writing & Publicity (c)

5. Promotional Events (v)

6. Advertising (v)

The good news is you only need to choose 2-4 of these strategies in order to get more clients. Here are a few things to consider:

1.  Comfort  – Choose strategies that you feel drawn to and excited about (even a little bit frightened, which is often excitement in disguise). Consider your skills, talents, experience and personality.

2.  Effectiveness  – Remember that the farther down the list, the less effective the strategy, so try to spread out your choices.

3.  Impact  – Each strategy creates a specific impact – outreach (o), credibility (c) or visibility (v). Aim for balance so you achieve the highest level of impact for your efforts.

Take a look at what you’re doing now, both online and offline, and notice where they rate in terms of comfort, effectiveness and impact. From this perspective, commit to a new list of strategies.

As a service professional, you need to gain the know, like and trust factor in order to get more paying clients. If you choose a set of strategies that fit your needs and apply them consistently, you WILL see results!

Marketing Strategies - Which Do You Use? Share/Save

Author: Tess Tackett

Effective marketing strategies are an extremely important aspect of your online business.  Would you like to increase your profits?  There are countless strategies for marketing your business successfully.  Keep reading for some great tips and ideas that can be used by seasoned marketers or complete newbies!

One of the most important marketing strategies you can use for your business is article marketing.  People differ on their views, but I find writing articles to be the most effective method of promoting my business.  Write one article, submit it to several article sites, and soon you could easily have hundreds of links to your product or service!  And it doesn’t cost a dime - even better.

A great way to generate tons of traffic is by using viral marketing.  This is another one of my favorite marketing strategies.   You can accomplish this by creating special reports and ebooks and inserting your links to other related and complimentary products.  Give your report or ebook away and you can easily have thousands of people, your FREE ebook in hand, filled with all of the links to your money making products.   Allow people to give your free ebook away or sell it, and it spreads even more.  This is viral!  Another one of the great marketing strategies you should really put into place.

Posting in forums is a very good way to market your business as well.  Visit topic related forums, read other members posts and respond when your answer will benefit other readers.  Don’t spam the forums by posting your ads and leaving.  Other members are much more likely to click on your signature links if you show that you are helpful and knowledgeable.  They will also gain trust in you, and come to see you as an expert in your field.  Forums are another one of the great marketing strategies you should be using.

As I mentioned earlier, there are simply endless methods that can be used to market and promote your business successfully, and most are free!  Be creative and you can come up with many of your own unique marketing strategies.

The Keys to Developing Successful Marketing Strategies Share/Save

Author: Daegan Smith

A successful marketing strategy is judged by how effectively it can be used. Many people know that a successful marketing strategy puts a lot of different factors into consideration and uses these factors as a collective.

There are, however, five main keys to developing successful marketing strategies. Every successful entrepreneur will tell you that these five always play a part in the development of a successful marketing strategy:

1) Strengths - A successful marketing strategy always considers the various strengths that a company has. These strengths should be present within the company and the company should be able to use it in order to achieve the desired goal. It is clear that every company has strengths which it could use to gain advantages over the competition. These strengths could range from having more resources to having more experience. The strategy must utilize the strengths to the maximum. Every effort expended should be directed towards the achievement of the goal.

2) Weaknesses - Just as every company has strengths, every company also has its weaknesses. A successful marketing strategy needs to take these weaknesses into account and help people overcome them. A successful marketing strategy should be realistic regarding its weaknesses in order to truly be effective.

Successful marketing strategies have often turned potential weaknesses into strengths. Anything is possible with the right manipulation of a company’s strength. By taking account of the potential weaknesses, a company will be able to find ways of coping for those weaknesses. They could actually remedy those weaknesses and make sure that they will not be the downfall of the company.

3) Opportunities - Successful marketing strategies have always taken advantage of every available opportunity for advancement. By taking account of existing opportunities, a company will be looking at the various stepping stones that it can use in order to achieve success. Various opportunities are always available in a market.

However, these opportunities are often shrouded and need a keen eye and a good sense to take advantage of them. In taking advantage of opportunities, however, the company must not lose sight of the main goal through which it can measure success.

4) Threats - Since the market contains opportunities for the company, it should also be mentioned that it does contain threats. People should be aware of any potential even that could bring a company to its knees.

Successful marketing strategies have always included methods of riding out these threats and adapting to them in such a way that they will endure them. The most successful marketing strategies, in fact, have actually been able to turn these threats into opportunities. Take BMW for example: when it was faced with the threat of being forbidden to manufacture airplanes, it took to manufacturing cars. That’s a great way of turning a threat into an opportunity.

5) Implementation - A marketing strategy needs to be implemented in order to be successful. The implementation is the final test of how successful a marketing strategy actually is. It could be clever, it could be simple, it could be cunning, and it could be obvious. The successful marketing strategy is always implemented. Without this final test, the marketing strategy is just a marketing strategy. Success is determined by the use, not by the design.

These are the five keys to a successful marketing strategy. Mark them well, for they might help you to achieve success someday.
