The Ins And Outs Of Airplane Advertising Share/Save

You’ve seen them in the sky and read the text. You might have even bought the book, or visited the bar or drank the tea. You’ve been a customer of the banner ad. Ok, not a customer of the actual banner ad, per se, but you’ve seen the aerial ads and responded in some fashion.   And now you might be interested in turning your product or service into an airplane sign that gets attention, too. But you might not understand the process.

It begins with your idea. Let’s say you want to advertise your new energy drink. You think that you might place a small newspaper ad, but also decide that you want to get your message out to the masses and quickly. It’s summertime and you’ve thought that aerial advertising might be the right method to get the message out. So you make a call.

You will find in talking to the airplane advertising companies that you will pay a charge for the production of your banner. If you don’t have a graphic element already prepared, the company will work with you to develop one. You’ll pay for the development and production of the banner and for the flight time.

Where should you fly your banner? Since it’s summertime, you will likely choose a beach location since your energy drink might be welcome among beachgoers. The aerial advertising company will help you choose the best location for your flight, but it’s helpful for you to know that if they are flying over water, they can fly as low as 500 feet.

If you decide you want your banner flown over a concert location or a sporting event, the plane can fly at about 1,000 feet, but still low enough for the banner to be seen and read.   To get the most bang for your buck and this new exposure, you might consider setting up a stand near the beach or other location. You could provide free samples or special pricing on your energy drink.

If you fly over a beach location, you could entice the beachgoers - through the use of the airplane banner — with the promise of a refreshing energy drink. As they head to the snack bar or the restrooms, they will already have initial interest in your product.

Whether you arrive in person or not to back up your banner ad, your airplan banner has put your product into the minds of your potential customers. People who see banner ads remember them better than they remember other kinds of ads.

Because they watch these ads and focus on them longer than traditional advertising (in general, studies have shown that people watch banner ads for up to 20 seconds or until they are out of sight), the images and words they see and read are embedded in their minds.

Just because banner advertising is unique doesn’t mean you should over look its ability to make money for you. These banners are effective at getting the word out and that’s exactly what you need.   Arnold Aerial Advertising is one of the many companies that provide such services. Located in New York,  Arnold Aerial Advertising  provides nationwide service with affordable rates.
