What is Viral Marketing?
“Viral marketing describes any strategy that encourages individuals to pass on a marketing message to others, creating the potential for exponential growth in the message’s exposure and influence.” [Dr. Ralph F. Wilson]How can this be done? How can some small business create a domino effect where people are talking about them?
There is a well known computer store in Jerusalem where I have not seen them run any marketing campaign. It’s hard to find and when you get there you think you arrived at the wrong place.

What keeps them in business?
They have excellent customer service and this is how word gets around. They utilize their excellent customer service to get more business. This is how I heard of them.
This is just one example.
I will give you another example:
I know a business coach who is known all over the world for his expertise and knowledge. He is already making thousands and thousands of dollars of month from his information products.
Yet he still develops free products to give away! In his case he creates free information e-books.
Every time someone downloads his free e-book - in the long run…. A new customer is born. He creates a powerful buzz for himself – all over the world just from these information e-books.
I hope my point is clear. As you are launching your business - ask yourself this simple question – how can we get people to talk about us? At the end of the day - Word of mouth marketing - can save you lots of money.
