Most anyone that experiences any measurable sales success online usually uses one than one marketing strategy to both promote their products and generate traffic. A particular method growing in popularity is blog marketing. Due to the relative ease of setting up and maintaining a blog many are coming to realize the effectiveness blogging can have as part of their overall strategic marketing plan.
This particular platform can not only be used as a method to generate website traffic for other sites of yours in which products are offered for sale but can also generate profits directly from the blog itself. Thru the proper placement of banner ads that are consistent with your blog theme you can earn money every time a visitor clicks on one of these ads.
Careful thou not to clutter your blog up with too many ads since the appearance will be unappealing and the affect on your visitors will be overwhelming causing them to unsubscribe. Remember your blog is for the use and enjoyment of your visitors first, and for you to earn a profit second. By maintaining your blog correctly you can tremendously boost your internet presence while also helping to develop your reputation as an authority figure within your niche.
Frequent posts to your blog with useful and interesting content for the readers is one sure way to generate website traffic from visitors who return. Another neat aspect of blogging is there’s always other blogs within your niche and/or community that you can visit for ideas and camaraderie. By interacting with these other blogs is yet another way to boost your presence within the niche. Due to the ability to leave comments when visiting a blog enables you to also leave a link back to your blog in your signature file. This opens the door to additional traffic back to your site.
Be sure to participate in a positive fashion by leaving only constructive and appropriate comments. Don’t leave comments just for the sake of leaving your signature file for this will be noticed thereby making future comments unwelcomed and tarnishing your reputation within your niche. If you want to market products directly off your blog be sure your content is not devoted exclusively to selling.
You want your readers to feel comfortable when they visit and not expecting to get continuously ‘hammered’ by different sales pitches all the time. Trust me, they’ll leave your site never to return! If used correctly within your marketing strategy your blog can be a great ‘gathering’ spot for your readers while also serving as a ‘jump point’ to other sites you may want your visitors to see. As a rule you don’t want to be too pushy with any sales efforts on the blog. Leave that aggressiveness for other web pages you have dedicated to that purpose.

Now that you know your Vision, your Ideal Client, how to Build Authentic Relationships, create Strategic Referral Partnerships and Promotional Events, you can effectively create and Build Strategic Referral Partnerships.
As you may recall, I mentioned in last month’s article that there are several marketing strategies to fundamentally build a business. The strategies are simple but not always easy, however if they are coupled with vision, vigor and a little tenacity, both business and life can be enjoyed with ease and results produced with velocity.
Remember as these strategies unfold in your reading each month, I never said it would be easy, however I am saying, it “can” be done with ease AND velocity with the right energy going in the right direction.
And you must keep in mind that you will have to address what I call the “human condition.”
The thing that will come between you and success is the “human condition”; your self imposed barriers, road blocks, and what you think you already know. Be aware of the barriers and road blocks as you read these.
Yes, I’m repeating this each month intentionally. Why? The two most prominent reasons are: to shift how you think in a way that builds your muscles to understand the fundamentals of marketing AND to address the human condition that could stop you from implementing the strategies and creating extreme success.
Keep in mind that Vision must be first.

Most newbies to network marketing have not given one minute of thought to who their target market is. Most of us coming into this industry are told that EVERYONE needs what we have to offer. So we go out and talk to everyone we can think of about our new business opportunity. But is this really the best way to go about building a business? I have to say NO it is not. Why Do We Target Our Market? The easiest answer is so that we are communicating ONLY with people who are most likely to buy what we have to offer. If we are selling cosmetics, then we want to speak with people (mostly women) who like to wear make up. We certainly would not waste our time communicating or MLM message with teenaged boys. The best way that I’ve found to target my market in building my network marketing business is to lead with my own HOT button. This simply means that I market to an audience who have the same passion and problem that I do. For instance, I have had acne ever since I was a teenager. I wanted a solution to this problem, and when my network marketing company began offering an acne solution that worked wonders for my skin, I decided to market that product to other people who had problems with acne, just like me. Make sense? Why Lead With Your Hot Button? I’ll use my acne example to illustrate. This network marketing strategy makes the most sense to me, because I already have a great understanding of my target market. (Other acne sufferers) Why? Because I am a member of that market group. I can relate on a very personal level with people who struggle with acne. Therefore it is much easier for me to understand what acne sufferers really want and communicate that message to them. The Key Is To Understand Why Your Prospect Wants What They Seek Yes, on the surface people in my target market want clear acne free skin. That is obvious. But getting in the head of your prospects is critical to your network marketing strategy, so delve much deeper than the surface. I had to ask myself the hard questions to understand what acne sufferers really wanted. I had to find out what I really wanted from clearing my skin. Would clear skin mean I didn’t have to cake on make up anymore? Would it mean I didn’t have to be embarrassed when I had a breakout? Would it mean I’d fit in and feel more comfortable in social situations? Understand the EMOTIONS behind why your prospect is looking for the solution they seek. Successful marketers understand that we all buy for emotional reasons, so tap into your prospect’s emotions. By leading with YOUR own hot button, you have a much deeper “emotional” understanding of your potential customers. What does that mean for you and your business. That means you automatically have an upper hand to your competition who has not personal experience with the product you are marketing. Taking the time to target your market is the first step to building a successful network marketing business. With a little research and a lot of passion, you will be well on your way to receiving the rewards of giving others what they want.

Marketing is all about creating and fostering relationships with your prospects and your clients. A big part of achieving this is that people need to know, like and trust you before they’ll engage in a relationship with you or do any business with you.
Before a person will commit to making a purchase from you, they need to trust that your products and services will do what you say they are supposed to. Also, if you want to keep your profitable clients, they have to continue to trust that you’ll deliver on your promises.
Trust is the basis of any relationship, be it personal or strictly business. Take a look at the following ways that you can build trust and credibility into your small business marketing strategies:
1. Provide examples
Give lots of case studies and examples that outline how you’ve helped clients and the difference it has made in their business and their life.
Real examples are much more powerful and credible than simply making claims about your service or products.
2. Seek out referrals
We all ask our friends and colleagues to recommend good places to eat or a reliable plumber, because we trust the opinions of people we know.
It’s the same for your business; actively seek out referrals from satisfied customers. Implementing a marketing system to generate referrals is one of the most overlooked marketing tactics for small businesses.
3. Get testimonials People always pay more attention to what others have to say about you than any claims you make about yourself and your business. Make it easy for your customers to provide testimonials. Create some marketing systems to facilitate this and then use the testimonials in all your marketing tactics: website, sales pages, direct mail, email communications, brochures and so on.
4. Offer guarantees
None of us like “buyer’s remorse” and providing a guarantee of service or results of your products and services will go a long way to help alleviate any concerns people have in handing over money to you.
Make sure you act promptly and with no hassles when you have to fulfill your guarantee. Keeping your word is a huge part of building trust with people.
5. Share your contact information
Nothing raises a red flag more with me than when I cannot find a business’s contact details - address, phone number, fax, email address, website, name of their assistant, customer service number, etc.
By listing your contact information on all your marketing materials, you go a long way in showing people you exist, you are a real legitimate business and you’re available if they have any concerns or questions.
6. Write articles
Write and submit articles to establish yourself as an expert and to help build a reputation that shows you know what you’re talking about, you’re willing to share your expertise, and you’re “here to stay” - all components towards building trust.
7. Stay in touch
Regular and consistent contact with people helps facilitate trust - they know you’re around and interested.
Contact your prospects and clients regularly (via email, phone call, card, etc.) to get feedback, follow up, and provide useful tips.
8. Be a resource
Provide information that is timely and helpful to your prospects and clients. Post articles on your website, send them an applicable, interesting report or magazine clipping, forward an email with details about a great teleseminar or workshop they might benefit from.
9. Let your personality come through
People do business with people, not companies. Help prospects trust you by letting them get to know you. Share your personality and passion in your marketing strategies and communications - for instance, have a picture of yourself on your website, share some tidbits about your personal life (hobbies, likes & dislikes, pets) and don’t be afraid to express opinions in your writing.
Take a look at your day-to-day marketing tactic and determine if you are doing all you can to build trust with your prospective and current clients.
If not, try incorporating a couple of the suggestions above and once they’re running smoothly and are part of your marketing system, then add a couple more. Keep doing this and you’ll be rewarded with long lasting, rewarding and profitable relationships with many people.

Great success stories start with a clear, compelling vision that pulls you forward, even on those days when you would rather sleep in… or when taking action just feels too darn difficult.
But what exactly IS that vision?
Here are six steps to get your vision into focus… and into your heart:
Vivid Vision™ Step #1: Clearly explain your “what.”
Your Vivid Vision MUST clearly state WHAT you are motivated to achieve. So instead of the fluffy “I want to make a difference” statement, think in terms of something definitive with a time frame attached to it.
President Kennedy’s brilliant and bold vision was to put a man on the moon “before this decade is out.” Voiced in 1961, his vision was achieved a full year earlier, in 1969.
If you’re struggling with your vision, let me ask you this, “What is it that you are absolutely, positively passionate about achieving as if you’re life depends on it and failure is not an option?” As a success coach, I’ve learned you shouldn’t think too hard—the woman business owner’s first thought is probably right on!
Vivid Vision Step #2: Feel a passionate “why.”
To do its job of pulling you forward your Vivid Vision must have a passionate “why” behind it. Why is it so important to you? Without a compelling “why” it’s likely you won’t stay motivated when the going gets a bit tough.
Your “why” is strongest if it’s linked to something in your personal life that you value highly. For example, I thought my Vivid Vision was to make a million dollars per year. Now I realize that is my goal, not my Vivid Vision.
What I value most isn’t money (although I am very good making it!) I had been experiencing a disconnect between what I thought was the Vivid Vision and what I valued most. Naturally, that disconnect created a conflict of interest.
Now my Vivid Vision is perfectly aligned with my deepest values. Since making this shift, the results have been amazing! My income as a success coach is up by forty percent in less than one year.
Vivid Vision Step #3: Get a clear strategy.
Think of your strategy as your overall approach to fulfilling your Vivid Vision. Your strategy is not a detailed action plan. It’s a high level look at the basic direction of your planning map.
It’s in Step #3 where many a woman business owner lets her Vivid Vision slip through her fingers. Please, don’t make it complicated. You won’t know in advance if you are choosing the “right” way. There’s no right way; there is only a way. As a success coach, I recommend that you choose two or three ways (strategies) to achieve your Vivid Vision.
Vivid Vision Step #4: Get into action.
With your strategies clearly defined you’re ready to take action. Now, there will be days where your progress feels puny, obstacles appear larger than life and you want to chuck the whole thing. Don’t. By staying focused with your Vivid Vision, you’ll be inspired to put one foot in front of the other.
Vivid Vision Step #5: Let the Law of Attraction deliver the “how.”
Uh-oh…now we get to the sticky part. This is the step where a woman business owner wants to figure out how to make their Vivid Vision happen. Because she doesn’t know how it’s going to work out, she gets totally stuck in her tracks.
It’s tempting, I admit, to want to plan the “how.” My success coaching request here is… don’t. Every time you feel stuck or confused, read your Vivid Vision™ out loud. Read your strategies out loud. Then ask yourself, “What do I need to do to keep moving?” Don’t worry, if you’re in action, so too, the Universe will be in action on your behalf!
Vivid Vision Step #6: Create a vision board.
My husband, Richard, and I plan on purchasing a bigger piece of property to build a house and large horse facilities. We’ve made an incredibly beautiful vision board that represents everything we want, even down to the style of windows!
If I’m discouraged about finding the right piece of land, I study our vision board (it’s hanging right in front of my computer,) and immediately I feel inspired that the right property is coming our way. Plus, creating our vision board allows us to get very specific about what we’re seeking, so we are both in harmony with our vision. (Clarity is an important component when co-creating marketing strategies with someone!)
Use these six success coaching tips as your Vivid Vision checklist. Once you have ALL six steps clearly defined and written down, you will enjoy having a vision that outlines your marketing strategies and pulls you forward to success!

When you are dealing with lead multi level marketing strategies, you know that there are several main issues that you want to look carefully at in order to ensure that you are able to get the most out of your money and out of your situations.
First of all you have to be aware that while most of them are going to be legit, there are going to be a few that you might see that are actually part of scams or other issues that might cause you friction or other problems. This is going to be a major problem and a concern for you, and the only way that you have to protect yourself is to do your own research.
In order to find the types of lead multi level marketing strategies that are going to be good for you and that aren’t going to lead you to have problems, you have to first be sure that you are doing your research. You want to research two main components. First of all, you have to look at the company that is putting it on. This should be your first place that you look. You want to see if the company itself is legit or if you can see any issues that might have come up already with the company.
This is going to be your number one place where you can find the most information regarding what you want to be doing with your lead multi level marketing strategies. Secondly, you are going to want to be sure that you are looking at the actual marketing strategies themselves.
You want to read all of the information that you have been given on them, and you want to be sure that you are able to define exactly what it is that the lead multi level marketing strategies stands for and how it plans on making the right kind of money. It is very important that you are researching both the company and the idea that they are trying to promote.
Next, after you have done your research and you have found that it might be a good idea for you after all, you want to focus on the other things that you can do to make sure that it is going to work well for you. This might include taking the time to look at your own finances and to see what kinds of money you can afford to invest. You want to be sure that you are taking a good look at these factors and that you are using them to help yourself make a good decision.
If you are doing all of these thing before you invest in lead multi level marketing strategies you will find that you are going to be much better off and that you are going to be able to make the most out of your money and out of the situations where you want to look into these issues.

Want to determine whether your marketing strategy deserves an “extreme makeover” or not? Here are the top ten clues.
1. You are frustrated by customers demanding lower prices, and they no longer seem willing to pay extra for your “value added service.”
What makes your product or service unique? Do customers regularly tell you that they are willing to pay extra for this? If price or the ever-vague “good customer service” are the only differentiators, it is likely your product has become a commodity.
2. Customers are choosing an alternative solution to satisfy the same need.
If you are losing some of your best customers, quickly determine why the shift is happening. Hiring an independent researcher to interview or survey lost customers is one way to do this. Is the alternative solution easier to use, less time-consuming, or cheaper? Does it appeal to their sense of greed, past relationships, safety, or ethics?
3. Your margins keep shrinking due to rising costs of doing business.
If the key cost drivers in your business model have risen out of proportion to your price increases, it’s probably time to revisit your core offerings. When was the last time you raised your fees? If it has been longer than one year, your fees are not keeping pace with inflation. Announce an increase before 2008—and be happy when the bottom 10% of your clients leave. They are doing you a favor.
4. New, innovative companies are entering your market.
Case in point: the automobile manufacturers once boasted industry dominance in the United States. Over the last decade, the “big 3” have become “the handicapped 3.” Toyota and Honda now lead the charge in innovative hybrid fuel cars. The Big 3 could have adapted, but were wiped out by their lack of innovation and nimbleness.
5. You are resisting a new industry shift or technology, even when customers are asking for it.
How much do you find yourself digging in your heels with your customers—even when your market is asking you to change? In 2005, I experienced the perfect illustration of a company’s unwillingness to accept an industry shift while visiting a Mercedes dealer. At the time, I was in the market for a new SUV vehicle. I asked the manager, “What is Mercedes-Benz’s strategy for building alternative fuel vehicles?” It was as if I spoke the unspeakable. The manager firmly replied that they were focusing on fossil fuel technology for many years to come.
Is your company wearing the same blinders? If you can spot the shift early enough, you should be able to make less painful course corrections.
6. Your key people are married to “the way we have always been doing it.” You cannot seem to coach them to think otherwise. Persistent, limiting beliefs are an indicator that a sale or merger is a better option than transitioning to a new model.
If you have multiple locations, and you are unable to detect this behavior first hand, these are signs that your current team is not in a position to strategically transform the business:
• Customers are demanding that two competitors work together and merge talents, and these companies are unwilling to.
• The leaders are tolerating major dysfunctional and destructive behavior.
• The founder or owner needs to create, but has not yet begun, a succession strategy, due to such things as a serious health/personal issue or retirement.
• The company is unable to meet its goals after several consecutive years.
7. You believe that strategic thinking and marketing planning is reserved for large, well-established companies. How many times do you tell yourself “planning and marketing are important, but I am just too busy to do it?” If this happens daily, that’s a clue that your company’s growth potential is limited. You have limiting beliefs—and you’re unconsciously passing those on to your team.
8. You are struggling to shift from “practitioner” mode to “leader/visionary” mode. The habits and skills that help leaders attain their first few millions inhibit their ability to generate the next ten million. Many skilled experts excel at their trade, and later decide to start their own business in that field. After their first few millions, they are still working in the business. This severely limits their ability to look ahead and refine their growth strategy.
9. You are constantly saying “yes” to interesting distractions (aka new ideas and projects). When the leaders keep announcing new projects and strategies, teams lack direction. They struggle to answer “What is our core business? Who is our ideal client? Where do we invest? How does our job tie to our company’s success?”
Try this simple test: Walk around your company offices. Randomly ask each employee, “In 30 seconds or less, what does our company do?” What percentage will provide a consistent, compelling answer? Last year, I asked over 700 CEOs that question. The overly optimistic ones said 30%. The realists said less than 5%. Which percentage is really true for you?
10. You continue to sell old, unprofitable products—and invest valuable resources to support them. Many founders are emotionally attached to their past success and history. That’s human nature. We love our babies and don’t want them to leave for college. These blinders prevent us from gathering regular feedback on our current market opportunities, re-assigning our top performers to hot new projects, releasing poorly selling/low margin products, or staking a claim in new, highly lucrative markets.
If you face any of these Top Ten Traits, it’s time for a makeover. What beautification steps will you take immediately to take charge of your market?

Starting a business can be a very rewarding venture, but you need to take the right steps to market and promote your business to ensure success for the long run. Your online or home based business will only survive the competition with a cohesive marketing strategy that you can implement effectively month after month. Without the right plan, you can end up wasting money and losing out on some great opportunities to attract customers and make a profit. The beginning and launch stages of your online business are often the most critical to your growth, and you need an effective marketing strategy to make it through the startup challenges. Here are some easy marketing strategies to get your business going with a strong start:
Starting a Business with an Attractive Website
Building an attractive website is important because it will introduce your customers to your products and services. Making sure the website is easy to navigate and browse is essential; you’ll need to develop quality content and use relevant images to encourage your visitors to stay and explore. Remember that the longer your visitors stay on the site, the higher the chances that they’ll be interested in buying something.
Starting a Business with a Free Newsletter
Offering free information in the form of a newsletter, eBooks, or even a set of articles is a great way to attract and retain customers. People are always searching for unique and interesting content, and you can start building a subscriber list that will be invaluable as your home business grows. An online business is the perfect opportunity to create an active subscriber list, and you can use this e-mail newsletter to present and sell your own or affiliate products later on.
Starting a Business with Online Networking
Online networking has taken on a variety of forms with the growth of the internet, and you can develop a strong online presence with a variety of tools available. Take the time to share and distribute articles and content on your site so visitors can learn about your company and brand with ease. Online networking is important for generating traffic and finding out what your customers are interested in. You can start to build a community around your website or industry by launching a blog as well; this can attract traffic to your main site and encourage visitors to ’stay in touch’ with your site for the long-term.
Starting a Business with Search Engine Optimization Tactics
Search engine optimization has become more important than ever, especially with the growth in sites that are so similar in scope and content. Earning the top rankings of the search engines will help you capture visitors as soon as they enter keywords in a search engine’s search box; this works as completely free advertising for you, and will help you increase the chances of a sale when visitors can find you immediately. Getting onto the first page of the major search engines is an important asset when you’re starting a business online or offline, and can help you generate traffic with very little effort. The best way to do this is to optimize your site with relevant content, appropriate formatting, and make sure the design and overall presentation is search engine friendly.
Marketing is an important element of starting a business, and you can enjoy long-term success with the right approach. Take advantage of the different types of marketing strategies for the easiest way to get your business to the forefront of your industry.

Viral marketing strategies are marketing techniques which once implemented take on a life of their own, they continually expand their reach across cyberspace drawing more customers and their cash into your net. They can spread like wildfire from place to place, luring, enticing and pre-selling prospective customers before they even reach your site.
Viral marketing strategies are so powerful that whole ebooks and courses have been written on how to implement and use such techniques to squeeze the most out of them. As once set up correctly you may never need to pay for advertising again…
So what types of techniques work?
Well as I said there have been book written on the subject, so here’s a quick run down of a few techniques which I’ve used to help create steady streams of traffic to my websites.
Writing and submitting articles such as this is a great technique for getting more links back to your site and for drawing in more visitors, as people publish them in ezines, on their blogs and websites and you’ll find them popping up all over the place. If you go to Google and type in “How to profit from your home business blog” you’ll find about 9,290 listings of that article which I wrote a while back…it’s also the most popular download at contentdesk.com with over 4200 downloads last time I checked. So if you’re not regularly writing and submitting articles, why not?
Power tip: Make your article viral, by adding at the end something like this to encourage distribution:
“(Feel free to use this article online and in your email newsletters as long as you leave it intact and do not alter it in anyway. The by-line and biography must remain in the article.)”
Putting together and distributing viral ebooks is another strategy I’ve used with good results. The key is to make them ‘brandible’ so that consumers can brand the ebook with their own affiliate links, this gives them an incentive to pass them on and on.
A few places you can give these away are, to your customers, website visitors or in article/forum signatures. Have a look at the link below for an awesome free viral ebook which is like nothing you’ll have ever seen:
Click here to download free, while you still can!
http://www.asuccesfullhomebusiness4u.com/viralsupertip.html
These are two strategies you can implement straight away. Other viral marketing techniques you could use are:
-Creating and distribution podcasts on your niche; turn your articles in to podcasts and you’ll add a new stream of visitors to your site, don’t forget to submit them to podcast directories.
-Create viral videos and submit them to google video, ifilm and other video related websites. Done properly, these are a very effective strategy.
